>> Bathrobe Commute: 85 Percent of PTO Trademark Attorneys Work From Home

I couldn’t resist picking up this little gem from the excellent blog Staring at Strangers by Jennifer J. Rose and David Leffler (thanks David for correcting me!):
Lynne G. Beresford, commissioner for trademarks in the Patent and Trademark Office, stated that 85% of the trademark office’s 390 examining attorneys work primarily from home.
To my mind, this makes the Patent and Trademark Office one of the most progressive and family-friendly employers out there — hat tip to Commissioner Beresford.

Thanks for the recognition, but just for the record it is “Jennifer Rose’s and David Leffler’s excellent blog Staring at Strangers.” I even happened to have written that particular post on 85% of PTO attorneys working from their homes, which I still find pretty amazing. Makes you wonder why this hasn’t been written about anywhere else.
Oh yes, while Jennifer and I are both brilliant bloggers, her grammar is WAY better than mine.
Having been alerted to your post by Jennifer, I find your blog and your legal practice site pretty fascinating and plan to return regularly. Looks like you have an amazing legal practice!
Regards,
David Leffler
PS Especially considering the business that they are in, I highly recommend that the Loud Feed folks fix the out of audio sync video on the homepage of their blog.
